My review of Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant

Opiniones crema batida Lala Retro Whipped Cream de Drunk Elephant

Hello darlings! Yesterday I reviewed the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum, and today I tell you my opinion about Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant too.

I bought the two products together to try everything a little.

What is Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant for?

Product Type:Moisturiser
Morning or evening routine:Morning and/or evening
Main ingredients:African oils and ceramides
Skin type:Normal to dry skin
Objective:Hydration

How to use Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant

This is a basic moisturiser that can be incorporated into any type of facial routine. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that if you use it during the day you have to use an SFP afterwards, since this moisturiser does not contain it.

As you know my skin care routine tomorrow is as follows: first of all, I do a deep cleansing of the skin. Next, I apply the day treatments, starting with the moisturizing eye contour. Then I use a serum. The next step is a day cream, in this case the Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant. If the day cream has no sun protection factor, I apply an SFP. Once the treatments are finished, I make up the skin as usual.

Where to buy Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant

This product, like the entire range of Drunk Elephant in Spain at the moment is only for sale in Sephora and Amazon. They sell it in 50ml size, but I bought it in mini-size (15ml). In the United Kingdom they sell it in this size, but in Spain they do not.

My review on Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant

This is a very fresh moisturiser, very light but that works well on normal to dry skin types.

It has a very characteristic texture. It is a cream (not fluid) very light, almost as if it were a mousse or foam.

It does not contain any type of sun protection, so if you use it during the day you should apply a specific product with SPF on top.

If you want to combat wrinkles and expression lines, I do not recommend it. On the other hand, if all you are looking for is a light and comfortable cream to use, it could come in handy.

Let’s see, after all, this cream is formulated based on ceramides and oils. It does not contain other more advanced ingredients such as retinol or other acids. Its function is to moisturize the skin and nothing else. Does it deliver what it promises? Yes. Are there other creams on the market that also do the same? Well, yes.

One of the reasons why we could choose this cream before others, therefore, would be the quality of the ingredients and the fact that it is vegan cosmetic. Drunk Elephant is not exactly a cheap brand, but so is the quality of the ingredients used. However, this is one of the most affordable creams of the brand. On the other hand, if you are interested in vegan cosmetics and want to make sure that the ingredients used have not been tested on animals, this may be your next star cream.

I hope this little review about Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant has served you if you are looking for reviews before deciding to buy it.
