My review of Aussie’s shampoo

Champú de Aussie Opiniones

Today we talk about shampoos and hair products. Specifically, I tell you my review about Aussie Mega Moist shampoo, along with its conditioner and mask.

In this review I am going to tell you what exactly Aussie Moist shampoo is for, the ingredients it has, where it can be bought, and obviously, my comments on the product.

Aussie Mega Moist: what is it for?

For those who do not know it, the Australian shampoo brand Aussie (good, and hair products in general) has as its mission to manufacture quality products respecting the environment. And enhancing the nature of Australia, of which they are very proud.

The Aussie Mega Moist is a range that is designed for everyday use. It consists of shampoo, conditioner and mask.

It is not a type of product for any particular type of hair. That is, you can use it whether you have oily, curly, volume or completely normal hair.

They are supposed to leave hair super clean (purifying effect) and shiny.

The truth is I would not recommend, in general, washing your hair daily in any case practically, because the only thing you are going to get is to generate more oil, but good. Here you have the post in which I tell you how to take care of your hair naturally. In one of the points we treat how often you should wash your hair.

Aussie Mega Shampoo

The highlight of this range is the shampoo, which is the most famous. Aussie Mega Shampoo is Aussie’s original shampoo.

Ingredients

Its main ingredient is Australian blue eucalyptus. If I’m honest when I bought them I thought this range was a series of silicone-free products. When I was reading opinions on the internet I understood that they were shampoos without silicones and sulfates. But this is not the case. Neither one nor the other.

My opinion about Aussie Mega Moist Shampoo

My hair is rather dry, because of all the bleaching it carries, and thick. If you want to know a little more about my history with bleaching and how I take care of my hair so that I can stay healthy, I recommend this post on how to take care of hair with bleaching.

It is rather smooth, but tends to curl easily. I usually look for shampoos that moisturize a lot but I do not like that they add weight, that’s why I decided on this shampoo. At first, the first days of using it I did not notice much difference, but after a while of using only and exclusively this range, I realized how it worked.

In my opinion, Mega Moist shampoo is good for oily, not dry hair. It leaves the hair clean, debris-free, and relatively shiny. However, my dry hair becomes too dry after using it.

As you know, my hair has highlights and bleaching, so it needs an extra contribution of hydration and softness that this Aussie shampoo does not give it.

Aussie Mega Conditioner and Mask

I’ve been using it along with Mega Moist conditioner and 3 Minute Miracle mask as well. Although the mask has a slightly different name, they are from the same range. That, by the way, this mask is supposed to have won awards and everything.

In short, these products, the conditioner and the mask, act in a similar way to shampoo: they do not moisturize much. Don’t get your hopes up if you have dry hair. But if you have oily hair, it may come in handy. The Moist range cleanses without adding heaviness or leaving hair straight.

I hope you found my opinion about Aussie’s shampoo, conditioner and mask helpful. Here you have a video with more products that I recommend to moisture and nourish your hair. Please note it is in Spanish so you need to turn the subtitles on:
