Hello darlings! Although you know that I am more a skincare than makeup fan, today I am going to tell you about a product that I am currently using, which is the Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 makeup foundation from MAC. This is one of its super iconic bases and I had to give it a go.
To give you an idea of the type of skin on which I am testing it, for those of you who are new in this blog, let you know that I have combination skin. I have a rather dry complexion around my mouth. However, I get shines on my nose and forehead.
Years ago when I started this blog I had oily skin, but it has become drier over time, naturally.
I chose MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation because I was looking for medium-high coverage. I personally like all or nothing when it comes to makeup. Also, to fim for my Youtube channel and for photos I need something that has good coverage on camera.
This base is also specific for combination skin, so I found it ideal.
Also, I loved that it had sun protection factor (SPF 15). You will be bored of me telling you that sunscreen seems to me the first weapon against the signs of aging. And I have proven that.
Where to buy Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation from MAC?
You can buy it from several online stores, where they usually have offers. Below you have all the links to Amazon, Look Fantastic, etc.
My review of the Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation.
When I went to the store the saleswoman tried the color that was closest to my skin tone and was absolutely right. The shade I use, by the way, is the A20 NC18.
Other than that, then the colour doesn’t cake, it holds up very well all day.
As for duration, I have to say that it lasts. One thing I pay a lot of attention to is that it does not crack on the wrinkles around the lips, and so far this foundation has delivered.
Areas of shine do not suffer more than usual, so I find it acceptable for combination and oily skin. Or mixed at least.
As a negative part I would only say that it is not an easy product to mix. Being so covering you will have to work a lot the blurring in the area of the jaw and the dark circle. You have to be careful that the concealer of dark circles has the same tone and consistency.
But this is something expectable, being such a dense product. Overall I liked it. Good option if you are looking for a covering foundation and it is good for both shine and dry areas.
I hope this review has served you if you are looking for reviews on this basis of this Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 makeup from MAC.
