You know that Korean cosmetics have always interested me because it uses skin-friendly formulas while still being effective. I have always admired how Koreans, and Asians in general, actually pamper their skin and always look like super cute dolls.
I already talked about Korean skincare in this blog, actually. You can read the article on Korean cosmetics, where I listed the best products of the moment, back in 2017. But it was time to make an updated version in 2023.
Korean skin care focuses mostly on cleansing and sun protection. Surely you have heard of double cleansing. You may also have noticed that many cosmetics and makeup include SPF in their formulation. In addition to this, within the Korean culture white and unblemished skin is valued. For this reason, there are also many Korean products to whiten the skin.

In this list I include products of all kinds within Korean cosmetics. I’ve tried to look for a little bit of each category. I have found very popular BB creams, facial cleansers, serums, tonics and creams. The idea is to have an example of each cosmetic. These are the best valued and most popular products, and therefore can be considered the best. Let me please share with you.
The best Korean skincare
1. Best Korean BB Cream: Skin79 bb cream
The Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm BB Cream is probably the most recommended and popular Korean cosmetic to date. The Skin79 brand is specialized precisely in BB creams.
The interesting thing about this BB cream is the sun protection factor it contains. It has a protection factor of 30 PA++. The 30 refers to the traditional SPF system against UVA rays. PA(+) is the Japanese system for protection.
You know that for me personally sun protection seems super important to prevent skin aging. And it’s never too early to start! At the end of the post I will leave you the last video I made on Youtube on this subject.
In addition, the Skin79 bb cream comes in 7 different shades. More than usual for such makeup.

It contains chamomile to soothe dry and inflamed skin and promote cell regeneration. Also among its ingredients it has extracts of gotu kola that help heal irritations and imperfections. Especially recommended to choose a cream for combination sensitive skin.
3. Best Korean Tonic: Klairs Sensitive Stack Tonic
Here we have another product from Klairs. The Klairs Sensitive Skin Facial Tonic is one of the most recommended within Korean cosmetics.
Why is it so popular? Well, because it helps clean pores and avoid pimples, blackheads and imperfections but without damaging the skin.
Do you remember what I told you at the beginning? Korean cosmetics are the best in terms of effectiveness but being respectful of the skin. This is a product suitable for all skin types, especially those prone to pimples and acne. This tonic of Klairs is sold in Amazon.
4. Best Korean Cleaner: Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser
The Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser from Cosrx is the most recommended Korean cosmetic product within the category of facial cleansers. It is a cleansing gel with low pH, which removes excess sebum and dead cells.
Among its main ingredients is tea tree oil, which is an ultra-potent ingredient for treating acne (and basically any other skin problem, but I’ll leave that for another post). 5. Best Korean Serum: Hyaluronic Acid from Elizavecca 100
This hyaluronic acid serum from Elizavecca is ultra potent. That is the main reason why it is such a recommended product.
It has a concentration of 100% hyaluronic acid, much higher than usual in this type of cosmetics. I’m not going to tell you more about hyaluronic acid because you know I’m obsessed. It serves for wrinkles, to moisturize the skin, to gain volume and even to make small cosmetic touch-ups. It works for everything! Hyaluronic acid makes the skin look smooth, firm and more elastic. As for the sites where we can buy these cosmetics, we have plenty of options both in physical stores and online. I like to shop at Yes Style because the prices are usually quite good. But I also find the products that are sometimes out of stock in other stores, on Amazon.
One of the most popular in Spain is Miin Cosmetics. When I visited his store in Barcelona, I already told you my opinion about Miin Cosmétics and the products I bought there. On the other hand, other stores in Spain to buy Korean cosmetics online are YesStyle and also Sephora. But many online and physical stores have a specific section of Korean cosmetics, even if it is small. Normally there you can find Skin79, Klairs… the most common.
