As I promised you in the last post, today I tell you my opinions about Galénic Beauté from Nuit Chrono Active Aqua Gel 50ml. We do the complete review of the product and this time with video and everything!
This product is a night cream that I chose to use in conjunction with the Aqua Urban Invisible Shield, from Galénic as well. As I always tell you in this blog, I like to use day and night creams of the same brand to enhance the effects.
Galénic is a French pharmacy brand, which you know I like a lot because I think they have more quality than other low-cost and are better than others that cost the same but have more marketing.
Ingredients
This is the list of ingredients used in the composition of the Beauté de Nuit de Galénic gel:
Water (Aqua), glycerin, hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, 1,2-hexane, dimethicone, Bis-PEG-18-methyl-ether dimethyl silane, algin, BHT, Blue 1 (above 42090), Caprylyl glycol, Carbomer, disodium EDTA, fragrance (perfume), hydrogenated starch olysate, Gluceth methyl-20, papain, polysorbate 60, sodium hyaluronate, sodium hydroxide, sorbitan isostearate.
For those who, like me, do not understand half of the words of the composition, I have tried to find clearer information about the ingredients used in this cream.
Apparently the main active ingredient is the macroprotease caricácea (where it puts “papain”). It is supposed to be a derivative of papaya that serves to remove dead skin cells without irritating it.
That is, the first thing we see is that this cream has an exfoliating effect, something that some night creams usually include. Why? Because at night is when the skin regenerates, removing dead cells.
Apparently, Galénic has patented Chrono-patchTM, which is the formulation used with this papaya derivative.
Other complementary assets are glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Glycerin is a staple of many creams as it helps moisturize the skin effectively.
On the other hand we have hyaluronic acid. You can imagine why I have chosen this cream, right? I love hyaluronic acid! In the post of the link I tell you why, but basically I like it because it helps maintain the hydration of the skin for a long time. With hyaluronic acid the skin gains thickness, and therefore looks smoother, smoother.
What is Beauté de Nuit de Galénic for?
Galénic Beauté de Nuit is a regenerating night care.
This cream, which is actually a gel, serves to optimize the process of cell regeneration, providing a gentle exfoliation.
It helps maintain the hydration of the skin in a lasting way so that in the morning the skin looks smoother and more rested.
How to use Beauté de Nuit gel?
I use this gel cream every night after removing makeup from the face and using the eye contour and serum.
As I said at the beginning, I use it as a complement to the Aqua Urban day cream.
My opinion on the Beauté de Nuit de Galénic
This gel has a super soft and light texture. When you apply it, you notice how the skin absorbs it quickly, even when you already have other products applied. It goes great with my oily/combination skin.
One thing I have noticed is, for example, that after spreading it on the face I do not need to wash my hands because it leaves 0 feeling of grease on the skin.
My impression is that the next morning I notice that the skin is full, so I would say that it does hydrate. I wake up without shine and with a feeling of freshness on my skin.
As for the packaging, it comes in size of 50ml in metal bottle and the jar comes sealed, which always gives you guarantees. It has a very delicate floral aroma, like lilac or very soft jasmine. The truth is that, in my opinion, it is a pleasure to use and I think my skin is doing well.
Beauté de Nuit de Galénic: price and where to buy it
The Galénic Beauté de Nuit has a price of € 51.50. I took it in Vistafarma, like the day cream, where they have it for € 42.75. As I already told you in addition to that I think it is the best option for price, they have a very close customer service and help you with questions about availability, shipping, etc.
