My opinion on Ceramidin by Dr. Jart +

My opinion on Ceramidin by Dr. Jart +

Hello darlings! Here is my review on the Ceramidin by Dr. Jart+. Ceramidin is one of the most popular creams from Korean cosmetics brand Dr. Jart+.

As you know lately I am very interested in Korean cosmetics. In fact, my last post was about the 10-step Korean Facial Routine, where I already mentioned this moisturizer. And, although I believe that no country has the magic formula to provide us with perfect skin, it is worth learning from each culture or trend and staying with what best serves us.

Dr Jart+ Ceramidin: what is it for?

It is a moisturizer based on ceramides (5-Cera Complex) to strengthen the skin barrier, as well as protect it from water loss and hydration.

  • Skin type: Dry and Combination Skin
  • Objective: Maintain hydration in the skin
  • Main ingredients: Ceramides (5-Wax Complex)
  • How to use: Apply after cleaning, serum and eye contour.

The brand recommends dry skin, but I have combination skin with an oily tendency and this cream does not generate any excess oil or shine. So, I would definitely recommend it for these skin types as well. In fact, one thing I find super curious about this cream is that it leaves a velvety finish that I had not seen before. Below I tell you in detail.

The main ingredient of this cream is a complex of ceramides, which serve to preserve hydration levels in the skin.

Within my facial care routine, I use it as a night cream. I don’t normally follow the Korean 10-step routine. I only did that for a while as an experiment to write the article on it.

This cream is applied after cleansing the face and applying the serum and eye contour that we prefer.

In any case, this cream should be the last step in the facial routine.

The brand has other products that we can use to enhance the effects.

My opinion on Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin cream

I’m going to tell you my opinion about this cream, and how it has worked on my skin type. As I always tell you, you have to take into account many factors to decide if it will work the same for you or not.

To give you an idea, this is my skin type:

In my case, I have combination skin. I am female, white-skinned and 31 years old. I don’t have acne or imperfections like that. My skin has fine lines and some sagging.

What I liked about Ceramidin cream by Dr. Jart+

  • It moisturizes the skin but does not leave it greasy. It has a “powdery” finish that I like. And as I said before, I had rarely seen it in a cream.
  • The product is very concentrated, so a little is enough. I think the boat will last me a long time.
  • The tube format makes it more hygienic than in a jar, since you do not have to insert your fingertip. So avoid introducing germs. I like that.

What I didn’t like about Dr. Jart+’s Ceramidin cream

I found it a little thick. I get the impression that it adds weight to the skin. It is not fat, but it is very dense. It really does not pose any problem for me, but if I have to think of some feature to improve, in my opinion it would be that.

In summary: my opinion of Dr. Jart+’s Ceramidin is positive. It leaves the skin super elastic and comfortable. It has a citrus smell that I find very pleasant. The “powdery” feeling seems to me a novelty, although as I use it at night I would not mind if it was oilier.

I hope this review about Ceramidin Cream from Dr. Jart+ has helped you if you are looking for information about this treatment before buying it.

Lots of love,

Deliria Rose
