My review about the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam

Mi opinio?n sobre el autobronceador de Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam

Hello darlings! You know I’m addicted to bottle tanning, so today I bring you another review (yes, another one!). In this case of the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner.

Here is my ranking of best body tanners, if you are still undecided and comparing products. But if what you are interested in is to see how it works and looking for opinions of the Bondi Sands Self tanning Foam self-tanner, read on.

Bondi Sands is a well-known Australian brand of self-tanners. They have an average price and are a low-cost alternative to the most popular in St Tropez, for example.

Description of Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner is a homemade self-tanning product that comes in foam format. You need a mitten to apply it evenly, and this is sold separately. You don’t need to buy the mitten of the brand. I bought another one and it’s perfectly. Mittens usually cost between € 5 and € 10 and are washable.

This is not a gradual self-tanner of the ones you apply every day. It is a bronzer that acts in the moment. Specifically, it takes up to 6 hours, depending on the degree of tan you want to achieve.

The tone I bought is the “Dark”. They also sell it in “Ultra Dark”.

Price and where to buy the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam

This is a self-tanner that can be easily purchased from Amazon, Look Fantastic or Perfumes Club, for example.

Then I leave the links to the main stores so you can compare the prices they have at all times. Every time I mention prices in a post they become outdated very quickly due to discounts, changes in availability, etc.

It comes in a size of 200ml.

How to Use Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam Self-Tanning

First of all, you should shave your skin so that the hair does not affect the tan. Afterwards, we shower and exfoliate to remove dead cells and other debris. We need completely clean skin so that the self-tanner is applied evenly.

Once showered and dried, we apply it. We must use the mitten and apply a little product on it or directly on the skin. We must shake the product and use the equivalent of the size of a peach, more or less.

We start with the feet and go up evenly in circular movements. Be very careful especially in the back of the knees and other folds of the skin. I like to pay special attention to the back of the knees and thighs.

The last part you need to work on is your hands. I like to apply just a little very carefully and use the remains of self-tanner for the face and neck.

From that moment and until 6 hours later the self-tanner will develop. If you see that it is getting too dark you can take a shower with a very weak water jet to avoid leaving marks. If you do it carefully, it does not have to leave “trickles”. But do it only if you really look very dark.

My opinion about the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner

Texture

The texture in mousse makes it easier to apply than cream, for example, but it’s harder to use on the back than self-tanners spray.

Does the Bondi Sands self tanning foam colour look natural?

Compared to other self-tanning lotions, the color is quite powerful, and I was using the lighter shade. It is not orange, it is quite natural. At least with the “Dark” tone which is the lighter of the two.

How long does Bondi Sands self tanning foam take to develop?

I took me around 3 hours to get to the peak colour.

How to apply Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner

It is one of the best smelling self-tanners I have ever tasted. Rather, it is one of those that have less bad smell. All self-tanners smell a little rusty, and the tropical aromas they throw at them are just to camouflage this smell. However, in this self-tanner the smell of rust has seemed somewhat less powerful than in others.

As for the aroma it has, in this case it is coconut, which is very good, but as I say, it serves only to cover the smell of rust that all self-tanners have, inevitably.

How long does the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner last?

The initial result has lasted me a little less than a week, somewhat less than the average duration that this type of product usually has. I also have to say that in that week I have showered every day, sometimes twice a day.

If we compare it with other textures, such as spray, I think foams give more of themselves, because it seems that more product comes in a bottle of the same size.

My review on the Bondi Sands self tanning foam

The most positive thing in this case is that the smell of rust goes quite unnoticed. The most negative thing is that it does not last more than a week at most, although it is true that it is within the average in this type of products.

I hope this post with my review about the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam self-tanner has been useful if you were looking for reviews about it.
