Hydreane Légère by La Roche-Posay Review

opiniones de hydreane legere la roche posay

Hello darlings! Today I tell you my opinion about the cream Hydreane Légère, from La Roche-Posay. As I said in the previous post, this and the crème désaltérante SPF 15 Aquapulpe by Galénic I bought together, looking for a gentle but effective facial care routine with my skin.

What is it for?

La Roche-Posay’s Light Hydreane cream (or Hydreana Légère, as it literally says in the description) I use as night care. I decided on it basically because it met all my requirements: a simple moisturizer, without SPF (because it is to be used at night), for oily or combination skin and as soft as possible (it is indicated for sensitive skin).

Where to buy it and how much does it cost?

Like Galénic, the La Roche-Posay brand can be found very easily in any pharmacy or Amazon. You have the link to the product below:

Ingredients

As indicated in the description, in the composition of the Hydreane Légère the thermal water of La Roche-Posay is used in combination with hydrolipids, which provide hydration to the skin. The truth is that I have been trying to inform myself online of exactly how these hydrolipids work, but there does not seem to be much information about it.

As for thermal water, it is a well-known component of some brands, especially in French pharmacy creams, such as La Roche Posay. It is basically water that contains minerals such as selenium, silicon or magnesium, among others, with beneficial properties for the skin.

My opinion about Hydreane Légère de La Roche Posay

As for my personal experience, in my opinion I have to say that this light cream from La Roche-Posay meets expectations. It is a simple care that I think helps to counteract the excess of cosmetic products that we sometimes end up using throughout the day. At the moment, the skin feels more elastic, less tight. And it’s a feeling that lasts after hours of wearing it.

The smell is very soft and the texture is not oily at all, perhaps because it is specifically designed for combination or oily skin. You notice a very light texture, as the name suggests. This cream, by the way, is also in a version for dry skin, and is called Hydreane Extra Riche.

Keep in mind that this is not an anti-wrinkle treatment, so if you are looking for something more specific, I recommend other more advanced treatments. This is a great cream to fight dehydration, but I see it more for young skin.

My overall assessment of the Hydreane Légère de la Roche Posay is positive. It is a cream that I would recommend for oily skin. Or for other skin types for the summer season. Since it does not contain sunscreen I would limit myself to using it only as night care. This cream reminds me a lot of another from Avène, which is the Cleanance Mat from Avène. In the link you have the complete review, but come on I tell you that they look a lot like me. In fact, they even have similar names.

It seems to me a basic product and that it could be used alternating it with other more specific creams, for example with an anti-aging or another type of treatment. For me, this cream is the perfect care for when I want to give skin a break from so many products and use something more “natural”.

In this video I show you my facial routine at night: how to use each type of product, step step. I recommend it if sometimes you mess with what treatment to apply in what order.
